Red Wings return to Detroit down two games to noneSubmitted by admin on Wed, 2011-05-04 16:03.
The Detroit Red Wings have their work cut out for them after loosing games one and two in San Jose. The Sharks are a solid team that look like they've gotten it together for this year, but as the series against the Red Wings moves forward Detroit has the chance to draw on its experience. San Jose defensive forward Joe Thornton is giving the Red Wings headaches, so the challenge for the Red Wings is containing him. Wings's left wing Pavel Datsyuk has to get scoring if the Red Wings are going to have a shot at winning the Stanley Cup. It looks like Red Wings tickets in Detroit are are not selling at prices as high as they are in San Jose, but a few wins in the Motor City would get the city right behind the team again. Perhaps the Red Wings fans have gotten a bit spoiled by al the recent success, but if you buy NHL playoff tickets now you are going to see a veteran team with one last shot at the Stanley Cup. San Jose is doing a great job selling Sharks playoff tickets, so the pressure is on Detroit to fill the stands. The Red Wings established a mini-dynasty a few years back, but if they win the Stanley Cup in 2011 they will have a legit dynasty argument. You can find Red Wing playoff tickets right here and watch how the team handles a talented San Jose Sharks team, Red Wings coach Mike Babcock is facing of against former assistant Todd McLellan, who knows a bit about how the Red Wings play hockey. Now the pressure is on the Red Wings to win both Gams Three and Four as the series shifts to Detroit. You can bet fans with Red Wings tickets are going to be making Joe Louis Arena a very loud place and if you want to get into the arena you can find tickets online. And if you are going to bring an octopus to a game, you might want to think twice as the Red Wings are arresting fans who throw octopi on the ice. Maybe that explains the plummet sales of Red Wings tickets, as fans react against ht team destroying a vital part of the team fabric. Apparently NHL commissioner Gary Bateman says the gunk from the octopus is just to much for fans buying Red Wings playoff hockey tickets to handle. We're pretty sure that an octopus on the ice wont make a break a 2011 Stanley Cup appearance, but why take the chance? See the Red Wings tackle the Sharks and buy a seat before the season is over. login to post comments
