The Detroit Red Wings are moving on to the second round of the NHL playoffs after sweeping the Phoenix Coyotes in four games and now its on to the Semifinals. Fans in Detroit are trying to stock up on both tickets and octopi. The next opponent will either be the Vancouver Canucks or the Anaheim Ducks, depending on whether the Ducks can get past the San Jose Sharks. Either way this team is ready for action and the fun won't stop. The race is on now for Red Wings tickets for the second round of the playoffs, and this team is on a roll! Its not going to be very long before its all about Stanley Cup tickets for another race at the NHL championship. They won the last game against the Coyotes 6-3 in a great game. Between Danny Cleary, Todd Bertuzzi and Tomas Holmstrom the Wings have plenty of talent to put the puck in the goal. The Wings are playing great hockey and are looking like they are getting hot for another run at Lord Stanley's Cup. Its been a few years since Detroit has won the NHL Championship, and you know these players are eager to get the trophy back to Detroit. Especially with the hated Chicago Blackhawks winning last year, Detroit has all the incentive to play hard. The window on this powerhouse Red Wings team is closing, so expect the team to get going right at the best time. We're all hoping the explosive scoring prowess of Henrik Zetterberg will be able to join Detroit in the next round. The Red Wings are still trying to decide when Zetterberg will return, but he's a trooper ready to get back to work. But either way the Red Wings are going to play their best so get out there with your octopus and MAKE SOME NOISE!!
